Shot Blasting And Paint Stripping
For restoration work and paint removal, shot Blasting is our preferred method of metal surface preparation for painting. This process involves the controlled blasting of the item with abrasive material in order to remove any current finishes and coatings while also removing any corrosion or contamination such as rust. This process leaves a uniformed abraded surface ideal for coating on and maximising adhesion resulting in a superior finish.
Our Setup
Our blasting facilities include a 40ft blasting container, 20ft recirculating container and 2 small blasting cabinets, ideal for more delicate substrates like alloy and stainless steel. We use G12 shot for all items however, other grades can be used upon request. Commercial and Domestic jobs are welcome.
